muguet
sounds like: mu·gè meaning: lily of the valley
I’m Lily, the creator behind Muguet. I started playing around with clay about 3 years ago in 2022 and took my first pottery class in 2023. Since then it has been slow process of practicing, learning, designing and practicing some more!
I have always enjoyed making things and love that ceramics are something special that can be used everyday and kept forever.
Every piece is handmade and takes about 4 weeks to complete (if everything goes well). This involves forming the piece, a first firing, sanding and cleaning up imperfections, painting designs, glazing and a second firing to finish them off.
I have learned to love how much time it takes to perfect a piece and make something truly unique. There are definitely many trials and many imperfect mugs that will forever remain in my kitchen, but some lucky pieces have made it to the shop.
Thank you so much for your support and for following along!
